The power of the blood 3

Power of the blood : 3

Mat 27:50

"Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
And behold the vail in the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom;
And the earth did quake and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints which slept arose.......

1: it's because of the blood that the barrier between you and father God was torn apart!

That vail was not merely some dusty piece of cloth hanging in the temple at Jerusalem but a physical representation of a spiritual divide between God and man.
A barrier existed that to all intents and purposes was un bridgeable. You exist in a time where Gods grace abounds and a door is open to eternal life but at this hour prior to Christ suffering upon the cross, no way existed back to God. Think on that for a moment if you will!

A new covenant was what God required and for that to happen, Jesus needed to offer his life without sin to God as a perfect sacrifice. It took the blood being shed to make it a reality.
Now though these facts are true and in force for those who desire salvation.

A. The way is open to God

B. We come to God through the blood and have been made acceptable to him because of Jesus.

C. Jesus removed the curse off your life. The curse incorporates the results of mans fall through sin. Ie :  sickness, torment and death!

It says that Jesus in col 2:14
"He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross: "

1 Cor 6:11 says this about the powerful cleansing we received :
"but you are washed, you are sanctified, you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. "

This verse in the same chapter perfectly brings us on to the second point in this chapter.
:14. "and God has both raised up the Lord and will also raise up us by his own power. "

2. The blood raised us up from the power and control of death!
It was the pouring out of that life of Jesus as he died on the cross, that in that very moment of him giving up the ghost,  released a surge of intense power into the very bowels of the earth to hell itself to release the captives held there. In fact as Jesus died, life came back into the very dead and it says that many of Gods people who'd been dead were raised instantly from death, to life.
What was dead, by the blood lived. There is a resurrection that takes place in somebody's life who comes to Christ and receives the work of salvation that the blood bought!
Sins are forgiven, sickness healed, peace restored, the captive loosed, and the dead are raised back into life.

Isa 53:10. "Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him: he has put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
He shall see the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied: for he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great and he shall divide the spoil with the strong. Because he hath poured out his soul unto death.... And he bare the sin of many..."

The price has been paid for you, you don't need to worry or be afraid that God accepts you, he does. If you've been washed in the blood, then tremendous miracles take place in your life. This does not stop at the act of salvation alone but continues in your daily life. It's for us to wake up to what's already been accomplished by Jesus for you. You are healed, you are forgiven. Accept his work of grace by faith and you'll start to enjoy the benefits of his blood bought victory.

Thank God for the blood of Jesus!
