OK people its time for awesomeness. We are unashamedly, unabashedly and undeterredly going to encourage you, cos well that’s what we do best (at no charge) at least that’s what we think we do best soooo if the old weathers getting you down already, hold on to your hats (LOL), if the bad news in the Newspapers is getting to you, then burn them (mwa ha ha ha ha, arson I love it), if your just generally already tired then watch out cos here we come with sunshine (On a cloudy da-a-ay) to brighten you up… that is our mission a bit like Mission Impossible it may seem (only we choose not to accept the mission so ta ta, no seriously)

IF GOD BE FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US (hmmmm?) we read that recently from our beloved (fearless) leader the Dade though he didn’t actually write it of course cos its copy right to the Bible, God wrote it but anyway Dade tweeted it and that’s what’s important here!

So how awesome is that!!! That is God being for us not Dade tweeting it (no matter how beloved or fearless he may be) just think if we all just can get the hang of that scripture then sunshine or what! You’ll be so bright that you’ll float through the day which won’t be that difficult given the amount of rain we’ve just had this afternoon (it would be fun though)

So everyone out there en masse, well the two of you anyway (by the by we love you guys) say it with us now

IF GOD BE FOR US…. WHO CAN BE……….. AGAINST US!

(Duuuuuuudes awsommmme!) what more be there to say (that last bit sounded piratical so I’ll add an arrrrrr matey)

Love J&J

Well guys, struggling as ever here sitting in the lobby of our hotel (it’s like stalag luft in heeere!) having lattés and chocolate biscuits (don’t listen she’s just trying to be brave, stiff upper lip!) today’s Sunday so we’ve been really busy doing what’s rumoured that we do best (digging escape tunnels Tom, Dick and Harry) anyhow it occurs to us that we have let you down (boo hoo) our fans out there who wait eagerly our words, wisdom and good sense. We realise we have not blogged for a whole week, shame on us! (Gosh)

But no worries here we are now (palpable sigh of relief) to set you up for the week.

Our words for the week,

Be still and know that I am God

(Don’t worry we haven’t gone on a super big power trip we mean GOD not the I that is us the I that is GOD) anyway you know what me mean, it’s the scripture that’s in the bible It’s a Psalm, duh, number 46 verse ten to be exact, seriously though – yes we can do that – sometimes its very important to quieten ourselves down from all of the hullabaloo of life (ha ha funny words) and get back to the quietness and stillness (Mellowness even) that we need to be able to hear form God (take a minute and try then phone us and tell us what he says). This week do yourself a favour and take some time each day, please, (see how polite we are) to get still meaning quiet and meditate, meaning think about who God is, cos’ he’s worthy of all of us taking time out to know him. We’re gonna do this as well this week which is extra information for you so you know that were all in this together so we’ll keep you posted as we already kno were going to discover how amazing God is; its all gonna be goooooood stuff.

On a different note pray for us this week all you lovely people cos were going to be really busy and could do with a buoying up (a buoy is a small floatable device used to track boat lines and tidal currents) thanks a lot in advance as ever we love you loads and loads and loads (awwwwww) don’t forget, try and be your best you…

J&J

Thought we’d just put this in the blog just to prove we can say something sensible – or at least Dade can.

2 Peter 1:5-14

In this chapter Peter found it necessary to remind people about the fact that their lives were supposed to be increasing in God qualities! God always wants us to grow in our walk with him and to never become stunted or heading off on some tangent in life, that won’t promote his best for our lives.

As Christians we are here to represent Christ and to uphold our part in being good examples of him and to see his name honoured and not dishonoured. Your life is supposed to be looking like Jesus. You’re here to learn how to be more like him than less. Some Christians actually start off better than where they’re ending up and so like Peter, I want to remind you of some of the finer things of life in God that should be seen in you.

God wants you to be living a life of worth, which means that something of value is being built on the inside of you. Jesus said that the real treasure of life is what is coming from God and entering into your heart, so that good things begin to grow. I don’t think that any of us would seriously desire to grow some hideously poisonous plant in our house, and so it should be the same with our lives in god. We want to see good qualities encouraged in us and the bad kicked out!

A quality is an outstanding feature in a person’s life. It’s something that stands out to others and is worth keeping not losing.

We can all have good things from God growing and developing in us, so nobody needs to miss out here. Jesus talked about the parable of the sower in matt 13-23, that there are degrees of fruit we can attain too. Some of us would go on to produce a 100, some sixty some thirty. Even if your just a thirty percenter type of person, maximise your efforts to see the good qualities of God in you grow

Peter in this chapter, said that to your faith, which I trust you all have, we needed to employ diligence, to employ every effort to add to our lives Christian qualities worth having.

Every effort means not just once a year effort, once a week effort but every day aiming to be your best for God. This isn’t the moment to go off to holiday in Christian nodd land, or the wonderful world of depression over your situation but to wake up, shake yourself and to look with fresh vision at where you’re heading with God

If you’re an exercising type of person, then you know what im talking about. You need to get up, move the body , work the muscles, and basically feel the burn to start seeing some results and that takes committing to the mountain. Facing the fact that you are required to do your bit so God will do his.

When was the last time that you really exercised your faith in anything? When have you recently employed your faith to see God fruit appear in your life?

Stir up your spiritual man and quicken yourself to action in the Holy Ghost because to get results you need action!

Tis the weekend again, so we put pen to paper or rather fingers to keyboard (the first one sounds way better by the by) in order to let you share once more just a little of our world (isn’t it magical?).

So, what shall we blog about today then? Ahh yes in total agreement as ever we begin with Mince Pies, yes news flash their out in the shops (they have returned once more, doesn’t it just make you feel all warm and fuzzy, hahahaha) and we have had already our first experiences… Four boxes to be exact so far (two down by the by mwa ha ha ha) that is between the five of us of course, plus three Chihuahuas before you think we’re complete pigs (oink-oink). Anyway isn’t it marvellous, even if Mince Pies aren’t your cup of tea, that as the nights draw in we can think once more of all the cosy things that autumn brings (like jumpers and fires and hot drinks and cake, and frosty crisp walks in the leaves ahhhhhhhh)

Blog interrupts here suddenly as J&J converse – see below

Jade – Were really rather good aren’t we?

Josh – Yes we should really write a novel.,

Jade – Its bound to be a best seller.

Josh – With a movie and tons of royalties.

Jade – Yay lets do it!

Convo changes subject – see below.

Jade – I suppose we’d better do something Spiritual Josh, cos that’s probably what everyone wants to hear, so here goes (fingers crossed hehe). Have you been thinking anything (period, haa) about God this week Josh.

Josh – Randomly

Jade – Of course

Josh – This is shaping up to be a real scorcher of a convo

Jade – Amen, as ever were letting our viewers know the true depth that is within us, very candid I think.

Josh – Plumbing the proverbial depths what?

Jade – So I suppose we should drop the spiritual and just go back to blogging then?

Josh – I suppose so, were are we dropping it?

Jade – In the usual place.

Josh – Well at least we’ll know were to find it.

Jade – Seriously we’ve got to stop this.

Madness ends ubruptly blog continues.

Basically of course with great cunning and skill which obviously none of you (lesser beings) would notice, we’ve used up all our blog space (devious innit) so all that remains is for us to say adieu and wish you an awesome weekend with a lot of living laughing and loving involved.

J&J

Well yes we’re on holiday, marvellous eh? (We think so) So really it’s our turn to do all those stupid holiday things that you’ve all done already (not that we’re copy cats – meowww).

Yup it’s the advantage of taking the old summer hol in September, our turn to crow over all of you who took the traditional summer holiday in… well summer (dude!) Actually we are following an age old tradition, well in aristo land anyway, after all it is the height of the shooting season (so keep a wide berth mwa hah hahaha!) nothing like putting the brakes on something that moves what! (sounds wonderfully sadistic, dunnit?) The weather you ask? For we are sure you are interested, well its been pretty good, that’s of course if you don’t count today’s 42mph freezing gusts that blew spits of rain at us at the same time (multi tasking weather he) so great in fact that Lorelai was almost blown off her little paws on a walk (ahem… for the uninitiated Lorelai is one of our Chihuahuas).

On a separate note, heard abut this really romantic proposal (aww) Unnamed guy, cos’ were always discreet, left for unnamed girl a bunch of flowers at home, accompanied by a note and tea-lights directing her to the bedroom (have no fear we are family friendly REMEMBER THIS) then five red roses (Bear with us we are telling the truth) and a bouquet directing her to the living room (slightly confusing but still..) which was full of yet more tea-lights and candles, some of which were in the words I LOVE YOU (sounds like a fire risk to me but hey…) then another note and then unnamed proposed! He even got her fake rings until they go to London to see his family and buy the real thing (awwwww) way to go unnamed but now really, really famous guy!

We all think weve given you enough so anyway as ever we Love you guys and wish unnamed couple loads and load and load and loads of happiness and continued LOOOVE in their future. Until next time…

This was J&J

Hi Guys,

I hope you’re all doing well and prospering, at present I am writing to you from an undisclosed, secret location somewhere in the Baltic.

Seriously though, I’d like to encourage you all this weekend to enjoy God and to remain in a position of faith; that means that whatever your circumstances may be believe that God has the answers to everyone of your problems. We’re told in the book of Hebrews not to lose our confidence and feint in trouble so this weekend, believe in God and expect God to do something amazing in your life. Remember it only takes a very small amount of faith to see great results.

So enjoy your weekend, here’s believing for good things for you,

We’ve been thinking how awesome God’s protection is for us all this week.

Of course we know you all agree and are sold out for this (Like a really popular but cheap product that is pushed by a discount store) but seriously where would we all be without his protection? We’ve been looking at Psalm 91 this week and WOW (Dude awesome safety plan or what!) anyhoo.
Our next suggestion is yep you guessed it Psalm 91 and you guys should be best buds for the rest of this week (Like this *imagine crossed fingers here*) tighter than a 2 by four and some glue on something that that would go on…. Hmmmm? We’ve been testing out all this Psalm 91 stuff today, as it happens, by climbing up a 1,000 foot gorge, don’t worry there was a path (almost!!!!!! Ahhhhh) and yours truly Josh and Jade are not particularly friends with heights (or as this was, a sheer crevasse, duh duh duh!) so we are both very pleased and chuffed with ourselves haha (by the by the view was awesome, amazing, incredible, magnificent and very pretty) there were all these waterfally bits and huge jagged pieces of rock jutting out from both sides, the water was deafening ahhh! And the rocks at the bottom had been smoothed out and moulded by the weight of water that was plummeting down the gorge (ooh clever words there!) anyway we survived… and we just know that’s by the grace of God (give a shout out to the big guy yahoo!) which takes us back to Psalm 91 (Because we neither plummeted or fell screaming like little girls the whole way, talk about divine intervention!!) so till next time (providing we don’t fall off a cliff) Happy reading (Yes we mean Psalm 91 sheeesh!)

God Bless all you special people (we encourage you to take that in the spirit it was given)

J&J

If it’s been one of those weeks then let us encourage you. And by one of those weeks we mean everything just goes wrong, from accidentally throwing your latte over the person next you, to stepping off the curb into a puddle of water you didn’t know was there or posting your mobile through a letter box by mistake.

You know the stuff, nothing too dire thank God! (What you might find in a rom com for instance) Just annoying, in your way, when your busy hold ups that happen when you’ve pre-set that this week was supposed to be going smoothly, you smiling at everyone showing them the joy of the Lord, how on fire you are for God (how nice your hair looks this morning) and just generally how in control of your life you are in God.

The encouragement bit by the way is just that we’ve had one of those weeks ourselves and we’ve put that in just so you know that we don’t float through the week on a cloud of glory like some heavenly angels (sorry to shatter any illusions there!) yes were real people and actually live this stuff that we teach and having said that we will now think about what to say next…. Ah yes! It was have an awesomely great weekend, Live, Love and Laugh a whole lot we love ya.

To start with guys, thanks to those of you who have said such nice things about our blog pics and stuff, particularly Rachel, (that’s right we dropped a name) who sent a text saying she loves the pics especially the chi’s, we’re with her there.

Anyway thanks to y’all out there you’re awesome. (We think, J)

Today we want to encourage you to keep on being your best you. Sometimes we know you just have that kind of can’t be bothered to get out of bed feeling, bad hair day, look in the mirror and feel a sinking feeling, I’m the biggest mess in the universe, but (aha!) of course none of us are going to be so stupid as to stick with those lying emotions of everything being ugh and we’re going to remember that through Christ we are more than conquerors through him that strengthens us we can do all things. (awooohooo!) That he is our healer our redeemer, our strength, (and just a really nice guy) through all things Amen. In fact here’s a part of Psalm 1 (journeying back to the OT) to encourage you, read it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. (deep breath)

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law he does meditate day and night

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth his fruit in season, his leaf also does not wither and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

As we know everyone wants to prosper, we know we do, lets rise above all of the negative stuff and believe the word of God over us Amen and that even counts for us, Jade lying in bed and a text coming in at unearthly hour. (Thank you, unnamed person!)

Plus Josh had three junk mail texts hit the old subconscious cranium (like when he was asleep) and woke him up grrrrr, dude mellow harshed!

J&J

And Dade says… to all you women out there I hope your excited and psyched for pink Friday. From all the reports and feed back from certain of you, especially the men, everyone has been feeling the improvement of Friday nights. So on behalf of all ill say, jade rocks and so does Jesus, believe it, embrace it and love it.
